A FIVE-STAR WALK DOWN HOLLYWOOD’S CULINARY WALK OF FAME Sometimes the best dining experiences begin by simply deciding to try someplace new. Isabella and I discovered Hoshi & Sushi in historic downtown Hollywood while looking for somewhere to enjoy lunch before heading to Aventura Mall. After reading about it, we decided it was worth the drive. It certainly was. The restaurant sits along a charming street that feels pleasantly removed from the pace of South Florida. From the moment we arrived, there was a relaxed atmosphere that made us want to slow down and enjoy the experience. The menu brings together Japanese and Thai influences, with sushi, sashimi, noodles and traditional dishes offering plenty of choices for very different tastes. And Isabella and I definitely have different tastes! I’m vegan, so I ordered their Pad See Eu Noodles with vegetables and steamed tofu. Isabella enjoyed the Pad Thai with meat. Our tastes may be similar in many ways, but when it comes to food, she is a committed carnivore and I’m happily at the opposite end of the spectrum. Hoshi & Sushi Thai Cuisine was an excellent experience. Everything we ordered was good and truly delicious, from the sushi to the Thai dishes. The flavors were fresh and well balanced, and the portions were satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive. Five stars all the way. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are craving quality sushi or authentic Thai food. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful Thai restaurant in the heart of Downtown Hollywood. Loved the design of this restaurant and the beautiful presentations! See pics. The Shumai Dumplings were tasty and melt in your mouth, the Tom Yum Soup was also very flavorful! The Red Tuna Sushi was also very tasty and melts in your mouth with minimal chewing (like the Shumai). However, I felt the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice could've had a bolder flavor as you usually would expect from Thai cuisine. It WAS tasty, but just had a milder flavor. Maybe you can ask for a little more kick when you order? If not for this, I would've given it 5 stars! Still highly recommend you visit!

What a delicious place!!!! One of the best sushi places in South Florida. Definitely a place to come back too. Even our kids liked it a lot. The pleasant surprise was a complimentary glass of prosecco to all moms on Mother's Day. Thank you! It was very thoughtful.

Had a really great experience at Hoshi & Sushi. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. We ordered a variety of sushi and appetizers, and everything came out fresh and beautifully plated. The flavors were balanced, the seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the presentation made it feel like a special night out without being over the top. We also ordered Pad Thai and glass noodles to go, and they did not disappoint. Both were well seasoned, flavorful, and held up perfectly for takeout. It’s always a win when the to go order is just as satisfying later. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great atmosphere, great food, and definitely a place I would come back to.
